Shelby County will be hosting a Free Landfill Day for Shelby County residents at the Shelby County Highway 70 Landfill on Saturday, April 1st and October 7th, from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. The Landfill is located at 401 Landfill Road, just off Highway 70 between Columbiana and Calera.
The Landfill does NOT accept Hazardous waste, tires, batteries, or liquids of any type. All participants must be unloaded and exited by 3:30 PM.
